Hi U2 people,
having saw U2360 in
Milan 2 nights,
London 1st night,
Glasgow and
Sheffield, it was time to travel to Cardiff for
the my 6th and last European U2360 show.
Wandering around the city centre and the stadium it was clear that this was a truly international event more than the other shows I had been at.
Being a Saturday it seemed folks had more time on their hands giving the folks who liked alcohol more time to drink and saw several folks
who looked like they had a few too many. :o)
I met several Irish folks who had travelled over and they said that they had a great time.
My voice was in a bad state because of singing my heart out at the previous shows and I was happy to damage it more. :o)
I sang virtually everything except the high notes which I could not reach.
U2 where fantastic and the musical highlight for me was 'Bad'.
It was wonderful to hear it. A 'jaw drop' moment for me. :o)
'40' was amazing to sing.
'I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight (remix)'..I went crazy :o)
I loved all the songs including David Bowie's 'Space Oddity'.
Having travelled far to see these shows and looking back on it all I know that I would do it all over again without hesitation.
I will never ever forget it and it was worth every penny.
If they do more shows in Europe next year then I will definetly go to some. :o)
I have had so many moments, too many to mention.
ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL....I lived my musical dream.
Thank you so so much, Denis.
PS... USA, Canada and anywhere else...GO WILD at the shows...you are in for a musical treat and I hope every one of you get as much out of it as I did.
