The Saturday gig 25/06/06 Coke Park, Dublin
Totally amazin day - we had no tickets and flew to Dublin but bought some from the touts - risky business! ten mins before the gig we had no tickets and things were looking grim, but we got in. Great atmosphere around the stadium. seeing U2 in their home town is ten times more fantastic than anywhere else. The set was fab - some old songs, some new. The best weekend of my life. We were in the standing area - everyone was dancing and singing along. Electric! U2 kick ass even after 25 years. saw them in all my decades - my teens and twenties. They haven't lost the edge (sorry for pun!) Sadly i am playing all their back catalogue in the car constantly. Word up to Cherie, Howie and John (father ted). Oh my lovely horse!
