This was the third tour for me in Cardiff, the others being Joshua Tree and Zooropa. I was expecting a great night as always at "the Arms Park" but what we got was better than great, it was fantastic!! I attended the first Twickenham show which I thought was great but being inside such a venue with the roof closed was unbelievable. It turned a stadium gig into a huge arena which for some reason seemed big but intimate - if possible.
The band were in fine form, same set as Twickenham except no strict 10.30pm curfew so we finally got to hear All Because of You - another great U2 anthem for years to come. The crowd were one of the best I have ever been with so much energy and singing. What a night!! Pity that was my final show of the tour but what a way to go out. Cardiff will be number one choice next time around.
