Amazing show as always. Before I start I want to talk about the pixies. I am a New England native and lifelong Boston Bruins fan...this show was in THE FORUM...Canadiens stuff everywhere..the heart of the beast...the pixies are a boston band...they come on stage at about 7:30pm...and the drummer has a bruins jersey on and is jumping around like a nut...very cool.
On to U2. My girlfriend (now my wife) and I took a bus trip up from Boston. That was just the best. Everyone playing U2 and talking about their U2 memories for 5 hours. Really a great time. This has to be the loudest U2 show I have ever been to...both audience and sound. The crowd noise even made bono stop in his tracks on one of his return from trips from the small center stage and just give that humble Bono look! And the Trabants...not sure I would want to play under them for long...didn't look safe to me!
