I can honestly say it was the best show I have ever attended!!!! The sound of the band was so tight and exciting!!! The March 24th show was my 5th time seeing U2, and on March 26 will be my 6th time seeing U2. I love the "back to basic" setup with a little bit a flare. U2 was the first band I ever seen in concert in 1985 and I have been a fan since 1983. I almost lost my voice on Saturday because of all the yelling and screaming of enjoyment!!! I'd made a white flag with black lettering "U2" I've brought with me to the 87,92, 97 and 01 concerts and I will bring this same flag with me tonight for the March 26th show.
I did like when the U2 just plainly walk on the stage with hardly any announcements. I remember seeing them in 1985 and Bono and boys gave you the feeling of being close but far away --
Overall, U2 is my generation band & to any other generations that are following U2 from here on out, I'm glad for you.
U2 has tested the hands of time. Just going over a little bit over 20 years together and still going strong!!!
They are number 1 in my book!!!!!
