The Elevation concert was amazing!
The Edge was ingenious. We were in awe at his incredible talent! He played the keyboard and guitar, among other instruments, and ran back just in time to sing. I truly admire him.
Bono was incredible-I only wish I had been closer to him. I envied the two girls who danced with him for Mysterious Ways and Withor Without You. My one dream is to dance with him. It could be to any song, but I would prefer it to be Kite. (Just in case Bono happens to be browsing through here-email me, please.) His voice was heavenly-even when he mixed up the lyrics to Angel of Harlem. He was respectful to us by apologizing for the mix-up. I also loved hearing from him that Ali has "a baby in her belly." He is an excellent performer and a wonderful human being.
The screens were so helpful in allowing us to appreciate his every facial movement, as well as the Edge's every ingenious move.
He elevated the entire audience during songs like New York, Sunday Bloody Sunday, and Walk On. It was exciting when he actually came off the stage and ran through the crowd, out the back, just before the encore. He later took out the spotlight and shined it into the crowd pulling us all into his party on the floor. I didn't want the night to end.
