What a night! This was my only concert for this tour and I was a little worried with all the talk about a subdued Bono, but NO!

Bono was BACK! He looked like he really enjoyed it, he played to the crowd and the crowd gave their all back. Right from the moment they came on, the NEC just rocked all night. This is the best U2 concert I've been to since Wembley Stadium '87.

Bono's voice was a bit rough at first but just got better and better as the show went on. He spent most of his time at the tip of the heart with The Edge while Adam and Larry just played it cool strummin' and drummin' their stuff.

He went into the audience after about 2 or 3 songs and went back for more. He was just lovin' it. He said he was gettin' a good vibe off the audience.

The absolute highlight for me was 'Streets', this song has disappointed me live in the past, but it was awesome tonight. Bono ran all around the heart back to the tip just in time to launch into the song, the house lights came on and EVERYONE had their arms in the air jumping up and down. A spine tingling moment.

It was great to hear Out of Control, All I Want Is You and Sunday Bloody Sunday was as powerfull as I've ever heard it - superb version. Bono said he bumped into a girl outside the NEC before the gig who he recognised from a concert at Lancaster University in 81/82, he said it was great to see fans who had been there from the start.

An unexpected surprise was Party Girl, it was really funny to see the lads huddled together discussing how to play it and what the words were!

Thanks lads, a fantastic night!
