What a show, got to NEC at 6pm bought ticket "standing" got inside the heart!!. Saw U2 last in 93 ZOO TV never thought i would be 6 foot from Bono and stage. Bono,s voice still as good as always, proving one of the best vocalists in the world.
Different gig experience watching band in the heart to further back in main crowd. Good performance from band expecially Bono considering personal circumstances.Bonos outfit still cool as ever - same as popmart gig in Mexico, but without muscles t-shirt. Loved Beautiful Day, would have liked to see bono splatting like a fly on back wall like night before show watched by my mate Carl Watts. He,s one of the many who slept out in a sleeping bag to make sure he got a a ticket in mid 80,s
at NEC. Where do they go from here?
mega stadiums again? hope so
