Well, what can I say??!!? This being my first (and hopefully not last!) U2 show, I was simply blown away. My seats for the show were really good and the band was in top form. PJ Harvey had a pretty decent opening set. I'm not really into her stuff, but she was rocking. After the set change w/ the house lights still on, U2 took the stage and launched into "Elevation" and the house lights finally dimmed in the middle. Personal highlights of the show were "Kite" and "Stay". These songs hold special meaning to me and hearing them live (and acoustic for "stay") made them that much closer to me. The show was incredible and the crowd was loving the band just as much as the band loved them. This was by far the best show i have ever been to! The music was great, the lyrics reached every member of the audience...a truly breathtaking experience. I thought I heard a part of "40" but I could be wrong, maybe before "Bad" but I could be wrong. Anyway, thanks to U2 for a great show as well as the audience for giving the band much love. Hope to catch U2 on their next tour stop in Ohio!!! take care!!! cheers!!
