U2 is picking a fight. Yep, you can see it in all their promo appearances and video's.
This was just another battle.
Whenever a band appears on Saturday night live they have their minutes and then they are quickly pushed aside, in favor of the comedy.
In their performance of Elevation, U2 turned SNL into a U2 concert and may be the only testament I need to cough up $125 bones.
Bono was dodging and weaving through the stage grabbing camera's reaching out to people. This wasn't the fly that we saw last night.... This was Bono determined to make their appearance memorable.
U2 was about rock n roll last night not celebrity. John Lennon got nodded to more than once. "All you need is love" and "Instant Karma" with nods to the Ramones also in there.
It was in my opinon one of U2's finest moments
