We (a couple of dutch guys) we on interrail that summer. Arriving at the railway station early in the morning, we planned to see Budapest and head on the next evening. A hungarian bloke, selling U2-tickets for US$15, made us change our plans. Tickets for the same evening!!!
A dutch student at the entrance of the front-area let us in. Nine o'clock, five metres from the stage with only small hungarians between us and bono. I can recall Bono dancing with a (beautiful) girl during Mysterious ways. He sure knew who to pick. The surprise U2-concert made this one very special....
