The band is as good as they get. The songs are great. The show is well done. The sound system is extremely weak. The better your seats, the worse the sound mix was. I sat with friends very close to the stage. You can hear the guitars well, but Bono's voice is a blur of sound. I moved later to seats farther away at the opposite end facing the stage and the sound is actually better than in the good seats, but still not anything close to what you'd expect when performers charge $179 face value for tickets. Maybe it's just the Oakland Arena, but can't Bono's beautiful voice be heard any clearer in concert?
