U2 remains the only band that can take a crowd in the Oakland Arena and make you feel like you're in a show at a small nightclub. The audience barely left their feet. Unfortunately, Bono sounded like he was sick and his voice was nowhere near the levels of usual. Instead of being the prime instrument that carries the band and is the forefront of the sound, Bono's mix was backgrounded more and the guitar/bass/drum mix was pumped, leading to high overrings in the general sound (and I was two rows behind and just right of the mix board). A good show, but not their best and slightly dissapointing considering the price$ now charged.
