This was our fourth and last Vertigo show and what a way to end a wonderful ride since April in San Jose! Mixing up the set list is so great this leg. Highlights for us were: I Will Follow, Gloria (cool surprise!), First Time, Fast Cars (really rocked!)and ending with Bad. Bad's our favorite song and the only one we hadn't heard yet and the one song we wanted more than any other. We bow to you boys!
Just after the band arrived the head of PR came out and told the crowd who waited for hours that Bono had the flu and wasn't able to come out and sign autographs because he wanted to save his energy and give us the best show he could...although disappointed after waiting for hours both days to meet him; the gift of heartfelt, meaningful, and rocking music from Bono, Edge, Adam, and Larry was felt to the core of our souls. Although he was not quite as energetic as the previous night, Bono delivered above and beyond. We appreciated his effort even more.. We love this band, they are the best in the world. We thank you for giving us all you've got!!
