I'm a huge U2 fan. Saw them first at the US Festival in the 80's (Los Angeles) and they were young babes singing Sunday Bloody Sunday--they rocked! The other two times were in Oakland--last time they were here in Oakland they had a lot more energy. Tuesday's show was amazing with fabulous MTV-like visuals. But, I got the impression Bono was a little tired (voice sounded a little raspy and faded out at times). I can't imagine being on tour in different cities, and giving it all you've got night after night. It's got to take it's toll. In my opinion, Bono might need a long rest after this tour. His aging was apparent--as most of us are in our 40's—I had wonderful binoculars that saw everything (down to the water consumption—not enough for the amount of sweat coming out of him). But, we love him and the band. They have a big place in my heart. And I think it's even more special that they are true givers supporting many causes--everyone should be so generous.
Another wonderful U2 concert!
