Last stop Munich!
The third of my 3 shows on the Vertigo 2005 tour.
It's only been a couple of days since the Copenhagen show, but I'm more ready than ever to crack open another olympic stadium :-)
We got in line quite early cause we really wanted to get close to the stage. When we got in it turned out that about 6-8000 people already was inside. How the hell did they get in ???
A bit disappointed we got a spot in the middle of the field.
In despite of the not so good spot the show was once again absolutely amazing. Some says it rained a lot. If you didn't experience CPH you have no idea of what you are talking about :-)
Top highlights:
The crowd was fantastic. Full of enegy and passion and very good on the lyrics.
The white balloons during the human rights statement and Pride. Absolutely an amazing idea and it made Bono change the lyrics to "I see white balloons..."
I've never seen anything like it. Thumps up!
Jürgen on guitar on Party Girl. This was just the top. I'm sure even the girls in the crowd wanted to be Jürgen :-)
...and don't be hard on the guy for his performance. Have in mind that he did not have monitor, and therefor almost unable to hear anything. Great job Jürgen!!!
In all this show was very close to the majestic performance in CPH. But I must say that the band seemed a little bit more "at home" up north.
My top 3 show list:
1: Copenhagen
2: Munich
3: Berlin
On my final note, I'd like to thank The Doctor, Five-O and TNT for some unforgettable days in Munich. You guys are the top.
THE END
