What a dull crowd!!!! It's been my last Vertigo show... and I must say that U2 didn't disappoint me (bar the boring setlists) but the German crowd did!
It looked from the seats like if the 85% of spectarors came to drink beer and eat wurst! At the end of the first set lots of folks started to leave the field! When U2 started Zoo Station they didn't seem to bother and kept leaving the stadium! wanklers! (bar the few people near the stage)
it just makes me wander, why do they play 3 shows in Germany, where the crowd seems to be so spoiled... instead of doing some shows in coutries where audience whoul really care... like Hungary, Czech Rep. or Croatia.
about the show itself...
highlights included- rain snippets in Electric Co (Singing In The Rain) and Beatels - Rain after One.
Miss Sarajevo (first time for me, that is extraordinary, incredible singing by Bono!)
Party Gril was not as good as in Gelsenkirchen, and I'd much rather hear Yahweh one more time! (Edge was ready for Yahweh but Bono's action prevented him from playing, after Party Girl they started Vertigo right away)
The ballons were cool, but far too few people had it (comparing to Chorzow ;)
A solid show, but certainly not a great one!
Met Anton Corbjn before the show, got the autographs and pictures, great great guy!
Goodbye Vertigo... that was my final show!
When will I see you ... again?
