Good night , horrible seats. This was back in the days when they would put the tickets on sale, sell all the crappy tix and a few good ones, then on the day of the show, release some nice blocks of tickets. The Big O has horrible sound, even tough to hear what they were saying with all the echos. On this night, Bono referred to the Guns and Roses show that broke out in a riot a few weeks prior to this show where Axel left early cause of who knows why. After 20 minutes Bono stated "We gotta go now" - the Montreal crowd took it well as they always do for the U2 shows. Daniel Lanois also made an appearance. This was far from U2 in 87 (crowd wise)at the Big O, but the crowd left happy.
