Bono thanked "Detroit, Ohioooooooooo" at the end of walk on. As a Buckeye, I want to make the claim that Bono did this on purpose. Perhaps he bleeds scarlet and gray?

Traffic was ridiculous, limos pulling up and blocking entrance to "the Palace" almost killed girlfriend and i. we had a terrible fight. we had to park far away at abusiness park and crawl under a fence. then we began to laugh. it's alright it's alright... things will be ok.

we get into the venue (which despite my hatred for its parking facilities, is a great arena to see a rock show) and they just finish mysterious ways. it came after disco/sun to clarify the setlist. Bono singing "in my life" and i realize that this is going to be a great show. full voice full guitar. adam was one with his bass, larry was wearing purple for once and really tight on the drums.

a reinvigoration since bono baby???

must say acoustics were great (section 202) and desire with full band on tip of the heart was great fun. g-l-o-r-i-a: bono laughed it off saying "maybe we shouldn't cover that anymore".

set changes were nice but would've loved to see out of control or 11:00.

kite was superb.
gone amazing.
streets still inspires.

one final thing: i'd pay $85 once a week just to hear the stripped back portion of walk on: "you've got to leave it behind..." when the words begin to fly and the piano fills in and then larry comes back with the drums. simply the finest moment of every show on this tour and i am not upset when i know the show is coming to an end. i look forward to this.

btw i need cheap dc tickets. any help??

with love
