Just something I noticed. BTW, this was the second time I have seen U2, (the other being POPMART in Chicago 97), and although the staging was simpler, the show was better. U2 is the only band left with swagger.
The reason I'm writing, and I don't think anyone has said anything about this, did anyone catch during "Bullet" when Bono is doing the bit with the light pistol and he goes into the whole "fighter planes" bit that along with singing a few lines from Bowie's Young Anericans, he sang some lines from Eminem's "The Real Slim Shady"? I am positive he said this, he was facing the right side of the arena and he sang it maybe three times, the "please stand up" part. No one seemed to latch on to it, I thought it was cool since Eminem is from Detroit.
Of Course I could have just hallucinated the whole thing-but I'm pretty sure I didn't.
Great Show.
