The great thing about this show is that both the band and the crowd seemed to have a great time. I was down on the floor and there was definitely a lot of energy.
The highlight for me was "With or Without You", what a great performance of the song. Bono brought up a girl as usual on stage, and I think she was wearing a Notre Dame sweater. I go to Notre Dame, so I thought that was cool.
Larry was also in top form. I love the little waves he shoots everyone when he walks out to the edge of the ellipse. And the hair makes him look dangerous. Which is awesome.
Funniest part of the show: Bono tells the story of the woman who put on the pageant that inspired Ms. Sarajevo, and he says she was really just "taking the piss", which as far as I understand means making a joke in European speak. The Detroit crowd must have heard it as "she was really just taking a piss" and seemed audibly confused for a good few seconds. Fun moment.
