Ok, and no this is not because I was pulled onstage by Bono - this was my 11th U2 show and hands down the best show I have ever seen by the band. I simply cannot understand how anyone would say this show was mediocre. Even with a less than stellar crowd the band pulled them up and sent them to a new level. From someone who owns probably hundreds of U2 concert audio and video bootlegs, I can say that U2 gave Detroit on a Tuesday no less, some of the more rare and special moments in U2 ad-lib etc history.
I have a friend who has seen them over 90 times. She puts this show in her top 3. There ya go.
Detroit, you were rocked!!!
