this was my first U2 show ever and i was so nervous about it. I couldn't have a proper sleep for month before it :)).
I went to queue during the night as i wanted to be very up the front and i was one of the first people in the queue, but as i entered the stadium i decided not to go near the actual stage but right at the tip of the rail. The show seen from there was spectacular. I had a bit of everything: i could see the band perfectly and very close, i was just a couple of cm from them as they came to sing on the rail (Bono actually put his mike right in front of me during Magnificent and sang there!)and i could also see the screen and a bit of the claw! NOt being an actual 360 show as Nice doesn't have seating on the back of the stadium the band sang only for the front which was very fine by me.
I couldn't help it before the concert and although i promised not to, i took a look at the setlist and i knew the majority of the songs played but at least i didn't remember their order.
I was amazed of how great U2 sound live. I have never heard them before but i have heard nasty reviews and i was so glad to see that they were all lies. Bono's voice is perfect and he's in a great great shape too. What other man could run around the stadium AND sing at the same time and not even stop to catch his breath once. He has supernatural powers:)). I loved Ultraviolet and it amused me how Bono played and swinged with his mike :D. I wish they had stayed more on the circle but i knew they wouldn't as the stadium isn't that impressing. They also sang one of my fave songs : Pride, Walk On, UF, Crazy Tonight...
I was floating after my first concert and i couldn't believe i had finally heard them live after so many years of waiting. I felt so lucky and blessed!
Thank you U2!
