Let's start at the beginning . . . It's 5:00 AM and we arrive at the Pepsi Center to find only five people sitting outside. One from Montana and four from Utah, all who had driven all night and gotten there at 2:30 AM and 4:00 AM, respectively. Just a few more arrived before 6:00 AM when we were all asked to leave by security. "The line doesn't form until 7:00 AM."

At about 20 minutes till, out comes "Bubba" the friendly, portly security man. He sets up the barricades and the line begins. The zanyness that ensued is inside information for those in the "Inner Circle" (the select few in the front of the general admission line). I will say this, however, that it was worth every minute (hour) of waiting in that line to be inside the heart of the stage. If you have reserved seats for another show, sell them and find GA tix NOW! [The system, or lack thereof, for getting the 350 into the heart was ATROCIOUS! "Bubba" was the only one who knew how to make it fair for everyone, but they obviously didn't listen to him).

I will let others do a better job of giving you a play-by-play of the show, and simply mention a few thoughts about it:

*Stadiums are for sports, U2 owns the arena!

*It was all about the music, yet still an amazing production that was visually stimulating.

*U2 gave their all and captivated the crowd for over two hours. Money's worth and more!

*Not sure if the people behind the stage got their money's worth, though. The people behind in the lower section had their view obstructed at times by screens that popped up. But at least it was better than those upper and behind who seemed to have a tough time seeing through the lighting apparatus. Bono walked to the back of the stage a few times, but they mostly saw the backsides of the band.

*Compare that to Bono clasping my friend's hand and pretending to bite it, and my patting Bono on the arm of his leather jacket. To really get your money's worth, I recommend skipping even the best of the "Gold Circle" lower bowl reserved tickets, get in the GA line early, and go for the HEART!
