We drove to Denver from Salt Lake City, which is at least 450 miles away, praying the entire time that our journey would be worth it. Our trek started at 4:00 am. We arrived in Denver aroung 1:30pm. The doors to the Pepsi Center opened around 6:45. We bought our well-endowed-in-price-tag merchandise and waited for Ms. Harvey. PJ was, well... Blah. (and that is being generous.) The show began with the house lights fully up. The band meandered onto stage acknowleged the crowd and ripped into a blazing version of 'Elevation'. When Bono wasn't singing or prancing, he had a huge grin on his face. The whole band seemed to recognize the energy of the night. They were active all night. Jumping like schoolgirls with their youthful girlish glee. The entire show was incredible and flawless. Except for one retard who the gall to jump on the stage during 'One', the finale, (horrible timing) and steal the spotlight from the band. If that wasn't bad enough he also had the nerve to caress Bono from the back side and give him a peck on the cheek. This is Bono, we are talking about, not George Michael. If he wanted anyone making gay passes at him I don't think he would be dedicating love songs to is wife in front of 20,000 people. Some people are born without functioning brains I guess. Anyhow awsome show. Best we have ever been to. Rock on U2.
