"The goal is SOUL. SOUL. The goal is SOUL..." Amen brother, the April 6th show in Denver was all soul and every bit the, I am not sure if to use the word 'spectacle' or 'event,' that was promised by THE band for those who made it to the show. This being my first U2 concert since my inception in 1999 in to the "club" I was full of the imagery of the Red Rock's, Live Aid, Zoo TV, and Pop Mart's of the world that I could hardly believe as I was making my way up the arena walk way that I was about to see, not only the best band in the world, but the most spiritually conscious band in modern music history (In my opinion any way, whatever that's worth). The show itself as described in "Mike C.'s review" was something that even the hundreds of dollars we as fans paid to experience THE music live was well worth parting with, in exchange for a "rock show," as said by Bono (and by the way if you really want to get the just on the specifics on the concert, really take the time and read Mike's review, it is flawless). Don't get me wrong the merchandise was a bit pricey as well as we all know the tickets were too, but damn, I mean, we are talking about U2. U2, not one of these throw away bands. So if you've got the doe dish it out and get 'elevated,' if you don't and you still enjoy the tunes as well as the heart in it all you're already there. Watch the skies ladies and gentlemen THE tour "is coming," the tour "is coming."
