Wow !!!

Awesome !!!

I almost had the thought that these not-so-interesting new songs would be very average live, but after seeing them here the first night in Denver, I must admit I was wrong! They weren't even that good!! I just wish they played "One Step Closer!!" That song R O C K S !!

Fantastic !!

We got hailed on!! It was AWESOME to get pelted with hail after waiting 12 hours in the freezing cold only to get denied access to the ellipse! I think someone who drove up to the arena at 6:45 pm SHOULD get in the ellipse instead of me! Random = Fair, like my Gramma used to say!!
I only came from Houston, used an entire week's vacation, and spent over a thousand dollars! I am super happy that we switched to this much fairer way of admitting fans into the ellipse. I keep thinking about how fair it is. All the fans outside the ellipe with me who had waited all day (we got hailed on!!) kept talking about how fair the sysytem is!!! We were psyched at the fairness!!! We put the singer on that stage, but now he doesn't want to see the same faces there every night - hey, who could blame him?

Fair!!

Awesome!!

I'm pretty pumped that we got the same show they've been playing! I want to know EXACTLY what songs I'm going to hear, and I want to know the order they're in too! There are too many songs to practice after 20 years!!! DO NOT CHANGE THE SET LIST !!

Rock On!!

I'm super pumped that Running to Stand Still is actually about the US armed forces in Iraq! I wouldn't have known that if I hadn't gone to 4/20 Denver!! And Streets is about Africa!! I wish I could remember that text message!!

Wicked cool!!

Anyway, I was a little distracted by just how different this tour is - different stage, different clothes, different shades, and a really different sound! It is in no way at all Elevation Pt II.

I have seen U2 over the years on both coasts and in between. I have described U2 shows as a religious experience to my friends and family. My wife walked down the isle to U2 muisc at our wedding. I have honestly felt like God was in the building when this band has played live. Last night in Denver - not even close!

Haters - do not try to post any dissenting view points here or on U2.com!! Not allowed!! We love this band too much to disagree or be hurt by decisions they make!! LOVE !!

"I must be an acrobat to talk like this and act like that."
Think about that.
