U2 was amazing on this night in Denver, April 20, 2005!!!
It's always unbelievable to see this band in concert, and with this being my first concert on the Vertigo//2005 tour, I have to say I was blown away by the performance. The setlist was great, the crowed was hopping, and Bono was in great form leading the band and the masses in a celebration of music and life.
Before the concert, the bars around Pepsi Center were enthusiastic, and trying to get into the arena was interesting as the hail was pelting us! But it was well worth it when U2 hit the stage.
The high point of the show for me (as it usually is) was STREETS. Bono's plea to everyone in attendance to join his "One Campaign" after the song was beautiful. "When we say we'll go there with you, we mean it."
Thanks again for another great performance, U2!! I can't wait to see the guys again on Leg 3!
