So here's my review for one of the absolute best experiences of my life. First of, I'd like to say "Hi" to all the cool people I hung out with all day. Mimi from Albuquerque, Phil from Chicago, Sam and Wendy, and of course Tim, plus everyone else (I'm horrible with names.) These people made the eight hours in line fly by. Tim and I got there at 10:00. I was the 203rd person in line.
Moving far ahead, Security was much better than at the last Denver show (which was only the seventh show of the tour). No Doubt was incredible through their whole set. I especially enjoyed "Don't Speak" to the closing song the most.
But when the intro to Elevation started, I went ballistic. I seriously had to slow down because my sides were hurting and I thought I was close to a heart attack. It was even more amazing when No Doubt came bouncing into the heart right in front of me. The killer though was Sunday Bloody Sunday. When Larry started on the drums, Tim and I were waving the hell out of that flag. It's hard to tell form the heart, but I couldn't really see anyone else that brought a flag waving their's that much. Then Bono slowly started his way down my side of the heart. With each step my voice grew 20 decibels. Suddenly he stopped and slowly turned. He reached down and took it for what seemed like a minute. When he handed it back, said "Thank You" to me and my friend. We were crazy. I can't even say how many pats on the back and hugs I got. How fitting that the next song was Stuck In A Moment. I was in sort of a daze for the rest of the show. Streets was incredible. One was drenched in emotion. And I'm not coming down. It'll take a little while to walk on from this. No other band can ever be possibly compared to this concert. U2 lays everyone to waste. I don't know what else to say. If you knew who I was and i talked to you before the show.
