Perhaps the band was in an extra-good mood because they got a chance to hang out with the whole R.E.M. crew (long-time emotrional support for them) or perhaps it was because they simply had a free day the day before.
Anyway, the band was great. They brought up the kids as had been done before (For "No more!" during "Sunday" and for the spotlight during "40") and Bono held a lady during "WoWY". She surprised him because he knelt down to kiss her hand and then she followed with the same gesture to him.
My friends who have seen past shows in Atlanta have told me that they are always glad to see how the band pumps it up a bit when they come to that city. I would have to say that they truly brought the A-game last night to Hotlanta.
