Okay, another night another city! And what a night it was. I have to admit that out of all the Elevation Shows I have seen, this ranks second on my list behind 10/24/01 in NYC.
Phillips Arena is a wonderful arena, and from what I can tell is one of the bigger arenas'U2 has played this year. U2 was full of energy tonight, and after seeing them in St. Louis, I thought maybe they were a little burnt out. I can throw that thought out of the window!!! Bono was very playful tonight and feed off the crowd. The GA's were full of excitement and energy, and the young man that took the stage to play People Get Ready did the best job I have seen by a fan yet. My Sweet Lord was a great touch to Kite and Bad/Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses was excellent again. I only wish Bono sang a little more to Peace on Earth, that is such a beautiful song.
Okay Atlanta, I am skipping the Tampa show to stay with some of my best friends in Atlanta, but I will be at the Miami show on Sunday night. Will you remain 2nd on my list? Or will you be bumped to 3rd? Check for my review on Sunday night.......
Later y'all,
Jeremy
