It was my first U2 concert and it was absolutely fantastic.
I really love the recent POP album and couldn't wait to see the show. I've only recently discovered the sheer brilliance of U2 and I must say that there is no doubt in my mind that these guys are fantastic song writers and musicians not to mention Bono's performance capabilities.
I thought that it was unreal how the band entered the stage from the front (meaning) they walked through the crowd just prior to opening the concert-this was unreal!!!! The part when the boys emerge from the giant 40 ft. lemon, it was totally awesome and amazing. All I can say to sum up is that U2 has to be one of the best bands of all time and they definitely deserve more recognition than they're getting at the moment.
Thank you U2 for giving me someone to look up to with my music and aspire towards and (if U2 somehow happen to read this) if you ever come through Coffs Harbour (half way between Brisbane and Sydney on the coast ) I'D LOVE YOU TO COME OVER and stay the night -- I know 'THE EDGE' has been to Coffs before.
