Do you remember the moment that this band became important to you? I mean when it really changed the way you listen to music, and feel what it does to you? That moment happened for me in the early 1988 when the guy that lived next door played me his copy of The Joshua Tree...and "In God's Country" came through the speakers. It has been my favorite song by my favorite band for 13 years now. I never thought I would hear it live, so last night was truly unbelievable...hearing that song, hearing those words, those notes live for 4 minutes made the 10 hour round trip drive more than worth the trouble. Just amazing.
The whole show had a great vibe. This is our third show of this tour (Dallas and Austin previously) and it by far was the best sounding show...in my opinion anyway.
Thanks again to the greatest band in the world for sharing their amazing talent with us.
