Olé olé olé olé, Bonoooo, Bonooo!!!
Olé olé olé olé, U2, U2!!!!!!!!
U2 rocked the house yesterday for the 2nd night in a row in front of 70.000 fans in Buenos Aires ("Bonos Aires").
A few highlights:
1) the raw, crude and intense music/rhythms coming out of Edge´s guitar, Adam´s bass and Larry´s drums during Vertigo, Elevation, Sunday Bloody Sunday, The Fly, etc.
2) Bono´s emotional performance in Sometimes You Can´t Make It and his Pavarotti-esque rendition during Miss Sarajevo.
3) River Plate Stadium as a bright constellation during One with all the lights coming from the cell phones present.
4)Mothers of the Disappeared and Edge playing the Charango, a typical South American stringed instrument traditionally made with the back of an armadillo (commonly made out of wood these days).
5) The fans, the fans, the fans, the fans! Singing, clapping, jumping, chanting, dancing! What more to say!
Thanks U2, thanks very much for coming down south to Argentina. We hope we don´t have to wait another 8 years but if we do, it´s all worth the wait for you guys. You guys rock!!
