Well, what can I say -- they sure put on a show.
My wife loved it, thought it was way better than ZooTv...my friends that went with us had never seen them and were very impressed....
I on the other hand was a bit disappointed...I think it was just the night -- they seemed kinda bored and uninterested...and Bono cut off SBSunday when the drum beat started...not a good way to make friends.
I hate to sound negative because it was a great show and very entertaining...but I think they are still working out the kinks in the show and arent really sure what to do with everything.
In addition, we had a huge storm come thru on Sunday nite and probably severely damaged several of their video panels as an entire strip didn't work -- was black for the whole show. And many others were just green or blinking or what have you.
In any case, I loved it and would certainly see it again if they were in town another night. I was surprised by the songs they didn't play...nothing from Zooropa and limited from Achtung Baby.
Nice to hear I will Follow...after all these years.
I'm not sure what all I have said qualifies as...kinda mish mash...confused, incoherent thoughts. Souvenir merchandise is pretty good this time around...navy and green t-shirts are cool...the program is top-notch, hard to read with the clashing colors...but first rate in quality.
