The feeling of most of the reviewers tend to be the same....the crowd deflated the energy and brought the show down a notch. I would agree with this. My 15th U2 show covering all tours since th UF. Toronto fans over the last couple of tours have been extremely flat. I agree with the one poster who felt that people just wanted to say they were there. I saw them in Dublin for two shows this summer and although it is a given that the crowd in their hometown would be stoked, Toronto's crowd didn't even register in comparison.
Anyway, enough about the crowd. The show was awesome. The boys were on and have never sounded better. With the Dome open the sound was that much better. The setlist needs some changes. I hate to say it but they need to shake it up a bit more I think. YBR, although a great song just doesn't fit into the set. I don't see it surviving to the end of the tour but we will see. The encore could change a bit too. Add a song or two. Love the three that they have now but lets shake things up a bit. Moment of surrender is phenomenal and in my opinion a great ending.
great show. keep it up boys.
toronto.....liven up......just a little
