I wanted to wait until after the second show to post a review and I was correct in my assumption that the crowd would be far better the second night than first. Went to the first night, was on the floor hung out at the back near the sound board, great spot to take in all this otherwordly stage has to offer, the show was awesome, band sounded great, too bad the crown seemed to be more interested in who saw them or who they could text during the show then getting into the music, looking around at the stands during some songs and the majority of people were sitting, could have been all the RIM employees from SW Ontario but that is just another assumption.
Second night, we waited in the GA line most of the day, ended up right on the back rail inside the stage dead centre, one of the best nights I have ever had a U2 show, great people around us, great vibe, the show itself was amazing. One of if not the best I have seen of the 14 times I have seen them. The crowd was into this one, up on there feet from the first notes and was the normal sight of looking up at a U2 show to see everyone on their feet for the better part of the show. Awesome, it just can't possibly get much better in a stadium. we will have to wait and see what they dream up next time.
