I'm a long time U2 fan and I've been to all their tours since 2001 on the floor GA pit usually in Montreal but since they didn't came to Montreal this fall, I drove my way to Toronto and got into the scene (front of the alley in the GA pit in the center, straight in front of Bono, about 4 meters away from him). Like always, no band knows how to put on a "show" like U2... I preferred this show over the Vertigo tour: no downpoint at all in this concert, sound quality was simply awesome... Awesome really! You don't expect that kind of sound quality from a stadium show. Maybe it was because the roof was open... But wow!
Screen was awesome although I was there for the band's performance at first and to hear Magnificent live. That song, after 4-5 months is still on top of my playlist and it's even better played live.
Only downpoint I can think of in this show: no Edge guitar solo in Mysterious Ways (I really miss it Edge...).
Thanks guys really for that magnificent evening again.. I have 2 more tickets I can buy with my U2.com membership.. See ya in Montreal!
