It's funny reading some of the reviews before mine because there is complaints about how U2 sold out, the lines were to long, it was to crowded it, it was that it was this. It makes me laugh because it's like where the hell have you been in for the last 10yrs or so. Yes U2 might have sold out if you want to call it that but they did it on their terms and no one elses. As far as the issues with lines & crowd....IT'S THE ROSE BOWL! No matter how hard they try there will be issues when dealing with 90,000+ people trying to get into a venue, I honestly thought it was handled amazingly but then again I don't sweat the little things like long lines, crowded bathrooms & crazy parking when it comes to U2.

Enough of that.....on to the show!

BEP were pretty awesome, I have to admit. Wasn't really looking forward to seeing them open because I am not a huge fan but they do put on a good show & they were genuinely excited to be opening for U2.

SLASH! I have always wanted to see Slash perform "Sweet Child Of MIne" in person, last night I got my wish. Fergie did a great job singing the song.

MY BOYS!!!

Chills up and down my spine when I realized that they were taking the stage. They were in fine form. Bono actually sounded better to me than when I saw him last in Portland for the Vertigo tour & looked like he had been working out. There is so much I could and would love to say about the show but I will just give y'all highlights of the the show.

Highlights:

Magnificent: Absolutely beautiful live! Just love the whole feel of the song.

Mysterious Ways: LOVE THIS SONG, always makes me wanna move my hips when I hear it.

I Still Haven't Found: Bono's intros for the band: PRICELESS! Love his sense of humour. Most amazing sound to hear 90,000+ people singing the song in unison & the looks on the bands faces when they heard it. "Stand By Me" snippet was amazing as well.

Elevation: I had this song stuck in my head all day before the concert so it was really funny to hear it live & it made me think of my mom.

In A Little While: Loved the shots of space & link with Space Station, great idea to have the last verse spoken.

The Unforgettable Fire: I have always wanted to hear this song live. Never in a million years thought I would get the chance! (was born in '83) so that seriously made my night.

Sunday Bloody Sunday: WOW! No words. Very powerful highlighting the Iranian conflict. This song is dear to me because it makes me think of Gram & Pops. Gram was born in Belfast in 1923 and Pops in County Kerry in 1915, so my family knows all to personally about the IRA conflict.

MLK/Walk On- Perfection! I truly hope one day Aung San Suu Kyi does see freedom. I can't believe she has been under house arrest for most of my life. Braver woman than I know I will ever attempt to be.

One/Amazing Grace into Streets: I was wondering how this would work because I have always thought One was best following Streets. I was proved wrong tonight. Having "Amazing Grace" into Streets was overwhelming, shivers up and down my spine. Simply Beautiful!

UltraViolet Light: Have always loved this song. I was hoping to hear this song live but knew chances were slim to none so when I heard they were playing I got super excited but prepare myself for not hearing it. It was AWESOME! Bono's was great! Not all points were it but it still was great.

MOS: Loved seeing the Bowl glowing with nothing but cellphones. Great ending song to the show.

That pretty much sums up my experience for this tour! This was my only show and it was awesome. Hope to maybe see them in '10 but not sure. I will be happy with just seeing this show for sure.
