Simply an amazing show. I arrived at the Rose Garden at 8:40am and was #218...Surprising since the weather was so bad the night beforewe just froze our little tushies offin hindsightNO BIG DEAL. Our tickets rang the little bell, and off to the bomb shelter we went. I expected Kanye to be hard to get throughIm not a fan of his, but I like a good beat, and thats what I got from him. We started chatting with fellow bomb-shelterians till the beginningtrying to convince my friend that U2 is the BEST band in the worldby the way, I think he agrees now after the show.
Love the confetti at the beginning. Love the absolute crispness and clarity of every interment played. Love the blending of stage lighting and visual display...Love that it seemed that they enjoyed themselves on stage. My only disappointmentif you can call it thatwas that they didnt exercised their right to use the catwalk. Id say 90% of the concert was on the main stage, and their appearances on the catwalk was scripted. Oh wellno biggie right?
All the way to 40simply an amazing showand given another opportunityyeahIll be in line at butt crack of dawn againrain or not!
Thanks U2
