The 2nd of 2 nights in San Diego. During tonights show, Bono told the crowd that the group had just gotten word that "The Joshua Tree" had hit #1 in the U.S. "Mothers of the Disappered was played for the 1st time on tour...After the show about 25 fans gathered at the U.S. Grant Hotel in downtown San Diego, and Bono came out to the fountain across the street (Horton Plaza) and played a few acoustic numbers, while the crowd sang along!!!!
