I'm am still in search of a word to express my feelings about last nights show. Amazing, incredible, awesome, don't add up to what this show was. I have to say, PJ Harvey rocked. I could sit here all day and write the details, but I'll try to keep it short. Yes U2 went back to basics with their music and stage set-up, if you've seen shows in the past. But they definitely didn't give up their energy and talent. I have never complained about the pricing of the tix, but for those of you that have been, believe me, if you paid over $100 over face value, your ticket is worth every penny and more. The sound was amazing. Bono's voice was as if he never smoked a cigarette before, completely clear and strong. The band went OFF. So much of a powerful performance, I danced the entire show. And I do have to say, I've been watching the set lists and was complaining to myself a little because some songs were left out, but you know what? EVERY song was awesome. I didn't have a chance to think of the songs I wanted them to play because their performance made up for it. And when Bono dances in front of the screens, I can't even explain how awesome it was. And it was very nice to see him wear a cowboy hat again. I was in the heart, but do have to say, I actually wish I would have been outside of the heart, at the tip, because that's where he spends most of his time, facing the crowd. I couldn't even leave to get a beer, this is one show you don't want to miss any part of, the music makes you high. 3 more shows to go...it's only going to get better. U2 just keeps getting better and better. I love my band. :)
