I'm a little late with my review, but hey, what are ya gonna do? Actually today is the one year anniversary of this very show, which makes it all the better. :) This actually was my very first U2 concert. And it changed my life forever! I had been a fan before, but right after the band left the stage, I knew I was obsessed.
My best friend was supposed to go, but she couldn't make it on account of a tennis match (sorry Leigh Ann!). So her sister came. We were in the nosebleed section. I had no clue what to expect, but when the music started and the greatest band on earth walked out, I knew this was going to be special. I was completely blown away throughout the entire show. I was so moved by every song, only hearing them through my stereo before, now having them performed right in front of me. (Well, about 10,000 feet away, but still.) I'll never forget the feeling of elation on the drive back home. I knew that I had found an incredible band, and will never tire of them. Thanks San Diego, and thanks U2. :)
