I’ve seen U2 6 or 7 times. Every time I go to see them I think they can’t get any better, but they can/do/did! Last nights show in San Jose was absolutely amazing! Like pretty much all the reviews before me have said, they sounded incredible. Even though the stage was stripped down, they still found ways to “wow” you visually.
For all U2 hard core fans, if you have reserved seats, you need to do whatever you can to get GA seats and then show up early enough to get into the heart! Even if you were to pay $200 a piece, you would not regret it once the band hit the stage! The heart is maybe the greatest gift any rock band has given their fans! The view of the show from inside is beyond description! It’s like having U2 play in some local bar and then only inviting enough people to fill up the place, but not to PACK it. Even with 300 people, here was so much room to move around in the heart, that you always head some space.
The best rock show, from the best rock band!
Other things:
- PJ Harvey was great! So don’t miss the opening act
- People showed about around 4pm and still got the wrist bands to get in the heart
- They let you bring a camera (point-and-shoot only!), so if you have GA seats you are a fool not to bring one. You will get some incredible pictures!
ENJOY!
See you there tonight!
