My fourth Elevation show!!!! This was by far the best. Others included (please read) Houston, Dallas and San Jose (19th)
The crowd was much more enrgetic tonight than any other show I've attneded. The house was rocking!!
Bono was on key and did not mess up any noticeable lyrics!
Everything from previouse reviews still held true. The house rocked during Streets.
But this time we had a few major changes for the first time.
They traded Bad for All I want Is You. Bad is my favorite U2 song, but All I Want Is You being performed for MY first time in its completeness was worth the tradeoff.
Instead of Desire they played Angle Of Harlem, which Bono did not mess up the lyrics like he did in Miami and they also played Stay (Faraway, So Close) for the first time on American Soil.
They also played Kite for the first time live.
This is what I have been thinking all along, once htey get the basic show down, we'll start to see more and more set list changes.
The energy was so much better than anything I've sen or read before tonight.
This was the best show thus far. If any one recorded this show, please contact me. This is the best!!!
