Listen to Adam. On Mysterious Ways, on Bullet.
This was my 30th U2 show, 2nd of Elevation. I was 3 rows from the floor, 10 feet in front of the soundboard, Adam's side. The sound back here is WAY better than in the heart - and it was great to see the whole performance and how they could change the mood and emotion of the whole arena on the drop of a dime.
They listened to the fans and read the signs - playing Kite for the first time ever - and it worked. They added All I Want, Angel and Stay, and dropped Gone, Desire, Bad, I Remember You, Sweetest Thing. I may be forgetting some others
Introducing One, Bono specifically mentioned the recent victory in South Africa concerning AIDS drugs and dedicated the song to "our African brothers and sisters."
For me, 4 weeks off then Chicago, then 3 weeks to Boston- where all bets are off.
