What a night! U2 was in great shape and the Italian audience - us, I mean ;-) - was thankful for that!!! The atmosphere was incredible but it was also a tough show... I'm sorry for those who say "too much talk" because this is what U2 is about... great music and great talk, songs and feelings, lyrics and justice. When U2 is concerned it's never "just rock 'n' roll". It was not coldness I felt coming from them, it was the knowledge they were performing a rock show in a time when bombs explode everywhere... Did you see Bono taking time to look at the audience? That's not cold! It's true that it was sober than Turin 2001 but nonetheless touching, moving, magic. Bono's voice was incredible and so was the band, I just hope the dvd will readjust the sound that sometimes went lost in the stadium...
