Fantastic concert. Was in the ellipse for the first time and that was just pure fun! The band seemed much more loose and energetic than in Chicago (5/7/05), where they were preparing to shoot for their video and also had some technical issues. Great set: including Gloria!!, Until the End of the World, and the John Lennon song Instant Karma, which were all excellent. The crowd noise after Streets was the loudest I have ever heard at a concert--the band all had to take out their ear pieces. This was the first time that I have seen them outside of Chicago, Boston, and New York City, and the smaller Midwest city crowd was by far the best that I have experienced--very fun. Had to laugh when Bono put his finger to his lips trying to politely tell the the young woman who was brought up for Mysterious Ways and With or Without You to shut up because she wouldn't stop talking. I enjoyed Kanye West (I was embarrassed by a few idiots in the crowd who were less than polite to him) and enjoyed how Bono kept breaking into "Jesus Walks" during their set.
