The show was amazing! I have to say that the crowd was also amazing. I could tell that Bono was moved by how loud and into we all were at certain points when he would shake his head and have to take out his earpiece. We had perfect seats for this show-section 101 4 rows from the stage. I got some cool shots. I will say that this show did not have quite the magic that other shows in the past I have seen have produced. Don't get me wrong, it was a great show, but Bono did not seem to have the energy like usual where he interacted with the crowd more in shows past. Maybe the tour is draining them? I heard they all flew into St. Louis separately and arrived at different times around 5pm night of, and they left immediatly after the concert getting into their limos and headed straight for the airport, not doing any backstage time after the show. I guess that explains why we saw Joe Buck (local media celeb) go backstage right before the show started. And for Kanye-terrible debut on the concert in my opinion. We walked into the show and the orchestra he had backing him up sounded horrible and they were waving their hands up and down through part of a song like a bunch of groupies. It was so cheesy! I think most of the fans agree that he sucked because when Bono thanked Kanye for sharing the stage with him towards the end of the show, the crowd obviously booed more than cheered. I would rate this concert a 8 1/2 out of 10. Either way, I love U2, they are my favorite band, and the fans at this show were awesome. U2 sounded great, just not as much energy from them this night as I would have expected.
