First and foremost, U2 was outstanding. Best concert I have ever been to. I didn't know the setlist from the past few shows, so there were some nice surprises for me. Praising God and praying with U2. Awesome.
Kanye West has guts. He knows that this was not "his" crowd, which is probably why he said he was nervous. He was stepping out and performing his best to a bunch of people who he knew probably cared less. And kudos to U2 for having the courage to share the stage with him. They know this is an atypical match-up. I didn't know (and still don't) one Kanye West song and I don't own one rap album. But he's talented, and U2 knows this. You can't put U2 in a niche. They break the mold and build bridges. What's better than that?
